Roses

Roses

This is the second painting of the same roses I painted yesterday. I wanted to introduce a darker background to make them look more dramatic. I love roses and I do paint them quite often but as I progress with my rose paintings I don't see them as roses anymore. I see a beautiful image of colours and shapes, a lively composition of contrast and light. I like to continue painting roses until I will be able to paint their sweet perfume....

    Parastoo, your rose paintings are beautiful and it is a great idea to repeat the same theme as each painting is unique anyway. Congratulations on your blog and on being accepted into the Daily Painters Gallery!
